7 Years Married!

We went back and forth on how we wanted to celebrate today, and I'm so glad we chose to celebrate the way that we did. The Wagners were in town this past weekend, and we had such a sweet time with them! Lots of Baby Luke snuggles. We all ate lunch together at Green Truck (glory!).

Afterwards, the three of us spent the afternoon at Tybee. We got about an hour and a half of play in before the rain hit. Nothing an ice cream pit stop on the way home couldn't fix. Momma got to squeeze a nap in while her boys played and we topped the night off with pizza and a movie (Toy Story, of course).

It truly was the perfect day and way to celebrate for us this year.

Seven years. We talked today about the past year and what a year it has been. It was a year trickled throughout with a little bit of all of the things. Things like taking major strides in paying off debt. Kev went on a work trip and we were apart for the longest we've been ever ever. Our marriage is even stronger and more solidified as we've journeyed through the last 365 days. And I just love my little family.

God is the hero of our marriage and deserves every ounce of glory and recognition for what we celebrate today. We have the honor of reflecting the greatest promise kept and love story ever told. That of Jesus. And good grief, do I adore this man of mine. I am fully known by him and fully loved. And so is he.

Happy anniversary, handsome!

National Mighty Eighth Museum

About a month ago (whoops, I forgot to post) we spent the day as a family at the National Mighty Eighth Museum in Pooler. We get in for free with Kev's Gulfstream badge and had been wanting to take Nolan for a while. We thought he'd enjoy seeing all of the aircraft.
He. Did.

Kev and I really enjoy museums, so we'll have to go back when we can take more time to read all of the things, but it was still time well spent considering we had a two year old in tow.

It's absolutely incredible what we learned about the mission and the men and women who served with the Mighty Eighth.

My aviation loving boys were in heaven!

Mother's Day 2017

Wendy's for lunch? Check.
Splurge on a giant iced coffee from Starbucks? Check.
Drink said coffee while riding around Ardsley in the jeep all while looking at dreamy houses? Check.
Dinner cooked not by me? (Bonus points because Kev cooked it!) Check.
Homemade ice cream sandwich cookie deliciousness? Check.
Watch Parenthood? Check.
And a foot rub. Check. Check.

All little things that I really enjoy and all with my two favorites.

It was the perfect day.
I absolutely love the grace-filled gift of being a momma.

And a special Happy Mother's Day to mine!

Jacksonville Zoo Trip #2

We went to the Jacksonville Zoo a few weeks back with some of our closest friends!
This post is SO overdue.
The weather was perfect, the company was the sweetest, and we got to feed a giraffe again!
The. End.
